The 3 R’s of Child Abuse Prevention

Children and youth from 4 years old through 18 years old should be taught to:

Recognize what actions or behaviors of others could be abusive
Resist the person aggressively and immediately
Report the incident to a trusted adult, and keep telling until they are believed
